Paquisha.- Gracias a la oportuna gestión del Alcalde del cantón Paquisha, Paul Rodríguez, a la Secretaría Nacional de Gestión de Riesgos, Zona 7, SNGR, la tarde de este lunes 7 de agosto, se entregó un importante contingente de ayuda humanitaria a las familias del sector Puerto Minero de Chinapintza que hace días atrás sufrieron de un devastador incendio de sus viviendas donde perdieron totalmente sus pertenencias.
El apoyo fue entregado por la primera autoridad cantonal, los señores concejales, la Unidad de Acción Social, técnico de Gestión de Riesgos de la municipalidad y técnicos de la SNGR Zona 7.
Donde consistió en la entrega de 26 kits de dormir, 14 kits complementarios de higiene personal, 14 kits complementarios de vajilla personal, entre otros, a un total de 34 personas que conforman las 8 familias damnificadas.
Además, por parte de la municipalidad, se informa se continúa apoyando con trabajadores y maquinaria para la remoción y desalojo de escombros con el fin de adecuar el terreno que les permita levantar una nueva infraestructura.
