#ZamoraChinchipe], La Policía Nacional del Ecuador, a través de la Jefatura de Investigación Antidrogas desarrolló un operativo denominado «Rayo», en el cantón #Guayzimi, en donde se logró el decomiso sustancias sujetas a fiscalización y la aprehensión de dos ciudadanos de nacionalidad ecuatoriana quienes presuntamente estarían inmersos en este ilícito.
El día de hoy jueves 21de marzo de 2024, en horas de la tarde, agentes investigativos en coordinación con el eje preventivo, pararon la marcha de un vehículo a la altura del ingreso al cantón antes descrito, luego de efectuar un cacheo se evidenció una funda que contenía sustancias ilicitas, estos operativos están enfocados para la reducción de los índices de violencia y delincuencia en la provincia de Zamora Chinchipe.

Los ciudadanos fueron puestos a órdenes de las autoridades competentes, los indicios fueron ingresados mediante cadena de custodia a las bodegas de Antinarcóticos para su debido proceso.
La institución policial ratifica el compromiso con la sociedad ecuatoriana de continuar desarrollando operativos enfocados al decomiso de sustancias ilícitas.
