La Agencia Nacional de Regulación, Control y Vigilancia Sanitaria (Arcsa), por medio de su Coordinación Zonal 7, clausuró un establecimiento de comercialización de productos naturales procesados de uso medicinal en la ciudad de Zumba, del cantón Chinchipe.
Esta medida se toma como parte del proceso administrativo correspondiente que ejecuta la institución, considerando que en una inspección realizada anteriormente por el equipo técnico de Arcsa se evidenció en perchas del establecimiento 274 productos cosméticos y naturales sin Notificación Sanitaria Obligatoria o Registro Sanitario, en su orden.
Debido al incumplimiento en los Art. 137, 140 y 164 de la Ley Orgánica de Salud, Arcsa inició el proceso administrativo, que incluye la clausura temporal del centro naturista, así como el decomiso de los productos con irregularidades sanitarias.
Arcsa recomienda a los representantes de establecimientos que comercializan productos de uso y consumo humano que verifiquen que éstos cumplan con la normativa vigente; asimismo, invita a la ciudadanía a reportar irregularidades sanitarias mediante la aplicación Arcsa Móvil, disponible gratuitamente en Play Store o Apple Store.
