En sesión ordinaria desarrollada este martes, 20 de agosto de 2024, la Junta Provincial Electoral (JPE) de Zamora Chinchipe eligió a Andrea Belén Palma Gálvez como Presidenta y a Héctor Junnior Orellana Cando vicepresidente, como vocales a Mariana del Rocío Seminario Ramón, Carla Yadira Reinosa Abad y Efrén Joselito Ruíz Valdivieso quienes fueron designados por el Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE).
Andrea Palma, presidenta de la Junta Provincial Electoral, señaló que al momento se encuentran planificando las actividades que cumplirán en el proceso de Elecciones Generales 2025 para los comicios del 9 de febrero. “Esta Junta Provincial Electoral garantizará la expresión democrática de los ciudadanos en las urnas”, manifestó Palma.
La JPE será la encargada de receptar las inscripciones de las candidaturas para participar en las Elecciones Generales 2025, que se realizará desde el 13 de septiembre hasta el 02 de octubre, conforme lo establece la Constitución de la República del Ecuador y la Ley Orgánica Electoral y de Organizaciones Políticas, Código de la Democracia.
Jorge Paltín, director de la delegación mencionó que el CNE apoyará a la Junta Provincial Electoral con la logística, de esta manera, del 05 de enero al 06 de febrero de 2025, iniciará la campaña electoral, acotó.
