La Delegación Provincial Electoral de Zamora Chinchipe realizó un taller de socialización del calendario del Referéndum y Consulta Popular 2024 dirigido a las autoridades de las instituciones públicas pertenecientes a la Función Ejecutiva.
En este espacio, se dio a conocer varios temas, entre ellos: Límite de Gasto Electoral, inscripción de organizaciones políticas y sociales y, campaña electoral; así mismo se informó sobre las 11 preguntas: 5 de Referéndum, de las cuales una corresponde a reforma parcial y cuatro de enmienda Constitucional; y, 6 de Consulta Popular.
De la misma forma, se indicó que para el cierre del Registro Electoral se consideró la información remitida por el Registro Civil con corte al 9 de enero. Además, constan los Cambios de Domicilio Electoral realizados hasta el 20 de enero de 2024. Los trámites posteriores a esta fecha se aplicarán para las próximas elecciones.
Al final las autoridades electorales expresaron su gratitud por el compromiso y la disposición de entidad electoral para contribuir al desarrollo exitoso de este importante ejercicio democrático, que representa una oportunidad para la expresión ciudadana y la toma de decisiones fundamentales para el país.
